Busch & Muller was founded back in 1925 in Meinerzhagen, Germany, where it remains to this day. According to Busch & Muller, they alone are responsible for the development of the standlight, daytime running light, and IQ technology (their system of beaming an LED onto a series of reflectors to create a wider yet more homogenous beam). Busch & Muller makes both battery powered lights, rechargeable lights, and lights that run off of a dynamo hub. The latter is what we generally stock since most of our bikes come with dynamos anyway. They make a wide range of lights for a number of uses, but all of them are great quality. If all you need is a sleek light to keep you seen and illuminate the road enough to see potholes in the city, they have the product for you. Furthermore, if you live out in the country where there's no city light at all and you need a wide, powerful beam of light to see the whole road and any darting deer as well, Busch & Muller has what you need.
